This gentle and relaxing yoga sequence combines both yin and restorative yoga poses that will allow us to spend some time reflecting on how remarkable our bodies truly are. We will begin the practice with typical yin style shapes that are held anywhere from 2-5 minutes, allowing the body to get into the deep connective tissues, fascia and joints that often hold tension.
The next half of our class will focus on restoring the body with shapes where we will feel fully supported by props, blocks and bolsters.
Lastly, we will end our evening with an optional 30 minute guided meditation to allow you to reflect on your practice, wind down and get ready for a restful night’s sleep. My hope is that this class offers you time to turn inward, create space and feel nourished. All levels of yoga welcomed
