Charitable events including the Keyano Foundation Gala and the Northern Lights Health Foundation Festival of Trees provide an opportunity to sparkle and shine while contributing to worthy causes.

At the heart of the city’s cultural community are the Keyano Theatre and Norm Weiss Centre for the Visual and Performing Arts. Keyano Theatre has assembled a loyal and solid foundation of actors, volunteers and audience members through the production of over one hundred musical, dramatic and comedic performances.

Not to be outdone, local schools provide high quality performances from theatre to stage and jazz band performances. Westwood High School’s improv team - WIT has won several national awards.

At the Landmark Cinemas, film buffs can view first run movies that are shown twice nightly, as well as weekend matinees. If you’re tempted by the call of Lady Luck, try your hand at bingo as well as Boomtown Casino that will provide you with an evening of entertainment and fun.

The casino has live entertainment Thursday to Saturday featuring artists such as Matt Minglewood, Craig Moritz and our very own yearly Boomtown Idol competition.

Fort McMurray is home to a number of restaurants, lounges, bars and nightclubs, several with live entertainment on a regular basis. Let us entertain you!
